Meet GreatMountain Chinooks

We became breeders out of a sense of service, dedicated to preserving and promoting the inter-relationship between working dogs, breeding, obedience, health, and companionship. Our breeding goals are to produce healthy, temperamentally sound, and well conformed Chinooks.

GreatMountain puppies have been foundation dogs for Chinook kennels, including Mountain Thunder, Vanguard, Callicoon, Skyland, Desert Sol, DayBreak, Blue Sky, and Barkerville.

We have welcomed Chinooks from other kennels – WoodsRunner, Northdown, Hurricane, Rain Mountain, Balsam Ridge, Northeast Wind, Granite Hill, Blue Sky, Vanguard, Barkerville, and Maple Lane.

GreatMountain Chinooks' collaboration with breeders and Chinook owners has deepened our understanding about breeding, eliminating genetic diseases, evaluating litters, and socializing puppies.
