Planned Litters
We are excited to announce that Barkerville Sweet Maple Mae (Maple) with Desert Sol Arlo Baci (Arlo) were bred in early October. We will confirm pregnancy in early November. If the breeding is successful, puppies would arrive in mid-December and be ready for the new homes in mid-February 2025. This would be the first litter for both Maple and Arlo.

Arlo is a purebred Chinook, registered with the United Kennel Club.
Arlo has never met a person he doesn’t like. He brings a touch of confidence and ease with new people. He is a handsome and fun-loving, social Chinook. He enjoys lots of adventures with his family (camping, hiking). He is a smart boy and quickly learns new tricks – ones that his owners teach him! Indoors, Arlo is very chill. He’s been a great work from home companion, curling up at his people’s feet while they work and always ready to give some supportive cuddles during a busy workday. Arlo is a very loving dog with a sweet, playful disposition, who instantly found his way into our hearts and has remained there ever since.

Maple is 2nd generation in the COA’s Chinook Breed Conservation Program and brings genetic diversity to the table. When bred with a purebred Chinook Maple’s puppies will be eligible to be registered as UKC purebreds.
Maple is a sweet girl with beautiful conformation and movement. I wouldn’t say she is shy, but she needs a moment when meeting new people, but is a friend after that. She did win the 2022 ChesterH Sweetie Award, and she has lent her likeness to the Sweet Maple Mae Sugar Shack. She is sweeter than the maple syrup that is named after her.
